About Pulp & Circumstance
I have recently introduced the greenvites eco-stationery line, offering stylish and innovative, environmentally friendly products to the Wedding and Corporate Event Industries. The greenvites product line, provides sustainable stationery made from 100% Post Consumer Waste, and is printed Forest Stewardship Council certified, using vegetable-based, biodegradable inks. The greenvites Recycling Program recycles and refurbishes used stationery into new creations. A portion of the sales from these products is donated to the FSC in support of responsible forest management internationally.
I love to design! I find inspiration in absolutely everything around me. I can’t walk into a room without getting an idea about something. I’m the first person to admit that there is no such thing as an original idea. Everything comes from somewhere or someone. I have been so inspired by hundreds of experiences and meetings with clients, as well as many other artists and designers. My designs sprout from everyday life experiences, my exposure to fashion, interior design, art, architecture, brides from the prairies, even designs on children’s toys. I am always researching design and colour trends, and love to see what other designers are doing.
Over the years, I have depended heavily on inspiration from my clients. I love meeting face-to-face, and collaborating to create a design which truly reflects their personal style. I’ve spent many years helping clients design stationery reflecting who they are, and now it seems that they too, have inspired me to design something that sincerely reflects who I am. My inspirations come from everywhere and everyone, but my designs are truly my own.
